Perfect Flower Rings

Sterling Silver Ring

Perfect Flower Rings in Sterling Silver. Sizes vary and are found on each individual page.

Perfection in the philosophy of nature is viewed through several contrasting lenses—ranging from cosmic order and functional optimization to dynamic adaptation. Additionally, there is the idea that perfection is a human illusion.

Sterling silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper) to add strength and durability. Pure silver is naturally too soft for everyday items like jewelry and tableware.

Ancient Origins (4000 BCE – 12th Century): Humans first extracted and worked with silver in places like Anatolia (modern-day Turkey). Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans used silver extensively for coins, jewelry, and artifacts

The Name “Sterling” (12th Century): The term comes from “Easterlings”—German merchants in Eastern Europe who traded durable coins made of 92.5% silver. Subsequently, King Henry II adopted this high-purity standard for British coinage, and the name shortened to “sterling”

New Malachite Set

Malachite

New Malachite set with ring earrings and pendant, in Sterling Silver. Great together or separately!

Malachite has a rich history spanning over 6,000 years, prized across ancient and modern civilizations for its vibrant green color, use as a copper ore, and application in art and cosmetics

The word malachite comes from the Greek word malachos, meaning “soft,” because the stone is easily carved, or from malache, meaning “mallow plant,” due to its leaf-green color

Egyptians mined malachite in the Sinai Peninsula and near the Isthmus of Suez. They ground it into a powder for eye makeup (kohl) and wall paintings. Queen Cleopatra famously used malachite kohl, which also helped protect her eyes from the desert sun. Spiritually, they associated it with new life, fertility, and the afterlife (referring to paradise as the “Field of Malachite”)
