After slabbing and shaping, I started with 100 grit

This is a relatively short pictorial of preparing a chunk of raw amethyst through slabbing, cutting, shaping and wire wrapping some amethyst from Rwanda.

3/17/21 I recently received several pounds of selenite and will be making some new pieces with it soon. Selenite is known to have calming properties, inspiring peace and insight.
