About Spectral Stone

Spectral Stone specializes in hand polished semi-precious stone, primarily agates and jaspers. The inspiration in my work comes from an appreciation of nature’s enduring beauty. Established July 2019.

Family and some history~

Tyler was born in Cincinnati, where he later attended the College-Conservatory of Music. He raised two sons in Noblesville, Indiana where he currently resides. Time is spent between the workshop and numerous arts and or rock/gem festivals throughout the year.

The shop is located at my home in Noblesville, both inside and in a large workshop on the back of the property. I use a ten-inch slabbing saw, a six-inch trim saw and a six-inch flat lapidary polisher for stone shaping. The collection of hand powered tools is far too broad to list. I use a Dremel for silver finishing and acetylene/oxygen torch for soldering/brazing. Many of the hand tools are the same I’ve had for years and also used for woodworking.
